John Henselmeier's Evaluation Report

Participants

Lynnsey Brim evaluated my page after I evaluated hers. She provided great advise such as:

  1. Making it evident which tab you are on by titling the page with a header
  2. Make the links open up in a different tab that way a user doesn't have to leave your site
You can find her comment in the discussion topic on the course site. Topic U6: Pilot Website Discussion

Sadly I did not get another evaluation from another classmate so I had my fiance, Aimee, evaluate it from home. Her main notes were:
  1. Try to reduce the gap between the header and the tabs.
  2. Create an action wehn the mouse hovers over the tabs so you know what you are clicking
  3. Highlight the tab that corresponds the page you are on.

Planned Changes

Improving Navigation

I will upadte the tabs so you know whuch page you are on after clicking.

Fixing links

I will fix links so they open in a new tab instead of leaving the website.

Improving Design

I will try to reduce the gap between the header and the tabs to give it a cleaner look.
